What is a Crystal?

Crystals are found all over the world and are born deep within the Earth

Sometimes some smaller ones are washed out of caves and mountain streams, but most are found where they have been growing for millions of years, deep inside the earth

For crystals to be formed, the right combination of chemicals and conditions are needed

This combination of circumstances allows liquid crystal to form

There they are condensed in natural caverns, gradually forming crystals

Some crystals can also be found inside hollow rocks 'druses' or even in stones called 'geodes'

These stones can vary in size from microscopic to giants

There are two main types of crystals - CLEAR or OPAQUE

but some crystals do not fall into either these categories

they are called

OPALESCENT

Crystals are also classified either Crystalline or Amorphous

If you have no idea what you want your crystal for,but are attracted to the idea of wearing one,then your date of birth is a good starting point.You can select one that resonate to your zodiac sign,earthing celestial energies

You can also pick out a crystal at random.Trust your intuition.Go out to the shop and browse.There will be several in store to choose from.Look around for the one that attracts your attention or the one that speaks to you will be right.It is better not to buy from a source that does not let you handle the stones first and if buying through the internet,ensure that crystals can be returned if inappropriate

A new crystal need to be purified and all crystals should be cleansed regularly to ensure optimum energy

Make sure all crystals you are about to use have been cleansed. Some crystals transform energies and others absorb or transmit them, so inappropriate or undesirable patterns of energy need to be cleared away. By doing this you also attune the crystal's energies to your own

Crystals Colour and Healing

There is some evidence to suggest that crystals resonate with the frequency of healthy cells, drawing unhealthy cells that may be virbrating at a lower of higher frequency back into the normal range by a process called 'Entrainment'

Stay in this position, breathing deeply and slowly for about 15 minutes

Slowly remove the crystals at the Crown and working downwards

Place a single Clear Quartz crystal or any related crystal - a short distance away from theTtop of the Head

If using a terminated crystal, angle the point toward the head, this directs the crystal's energy into the Crown Chakra

Place a single point of Amethyst, a piece of tumbled Amethyst or Puple Fluorite / or any related crystal over the Brow Chakra

Place a piece of Aquamarine/ Jade or any related crystal on the throat over the voice box

4. HEART CHAKRA

Place a small piece of uncut or tumbled Rose Quartz crystal or any related crystal, over the heart Chakra
