How You can help with your Child's Psychic Gifts

 

LOOK OUT FOR THE INDICATION OF PSYCHIC POTENTIAL

Children may begin to indicate their Psychic potential almost at birth. Study their eyes and how they look at you, others and their surroundings

Observe how they hear

And observe the natural movements of their bodies

As they grow, watch for what characteristics do they develop that they could not have learned during their current lifetime

Keep a daily record of your observations of behaviour that may indicate Psychic Abilities

Look for behaviour patterns that indicate Psychic Abilities

Videotape actions that indicate Psychic Abilites

As the child grows, watch for responses to sensory input form all the 6 different senses

When the child can talk, ask questions relating to how his mind works in the 6 different senses

As long as you allow children to feel confident that they can trust you with their knowledge, they will share it with you

If they think that you are not sincere, they will not tell you what they know. If you lose their trust, it may be hard to win it back again

Never threaten the child with punishment whose 'reality' does not fit in the 'normal' world

Children can learn when to share what they know and when it is time to keep it to themselves

It is very important to rememer that each child is a special human being who is different from anyone else on earth. If you observe and identify the child's intuitive abilities, you have helped them find a tool that they can use throughout their entire lives

GROUNDWORK FOR PSYCHIC GROWTH - ESSENTIAL IN THE PRESCHOOL YEARS

It is very important to establish the groundwork for Psychic growth in the preschool years. Children in traumatic family situations develop their Psychic ability rapidly, often as a defense and escape mechanism. You may observe a child of preschool age who has 'imaginary friends'. If you tell this child that those friends are not 'real', the child may lose the ability to see them. On the other hand, if the child is comfortable with this gift, those friends may remain visible throuthout the child's adult life too

DIFFERENT FROM OTHER KIDS

Keep in mind that once these Psychic gifted children start school, they can become painfully aware that they are different from other children. If children are ridiculed, they will shut down their special intuitive gifts. The more you are aware of potential struggles, the more you can help them adjust to the differences in beliefs that exist in the world around them

TEENS

Some children only reach their Psychic Potential when they are teenagers. As their bodies change, they seem to open even more to the energy of the Universe. The teen years can provide some of the greatest opportunities for Psychic development and growth. You can do a huge service to teenagers by giving them permission to explore and work with their natural-born Psychic Abiliites

MEMORIES OF FLIGHT

Children's minds accept a secondary reality of a nonphysical body. In that form they are free to escape the gravitational restrictions of their 'earthly body'. It is easy for them to move about in a weighless dimension - because their minds have not yet been constrained to the limited views of the adult world

Only when they become aware of their physical bodies, do children start to pull back from this second reality. An adult's influence on a child during the transition years will make a great difference to the freedom of nonphysical travel he will have the rest of his live on Earth. Those who learn they cannot fly any more will more than likely never do it again during their current lifetime. Those who are encouraged to continue to fly in their minds - will enjoy this freedom for as long as they want

You can have a major impact on children who believe they can fly. If you start observing their mental processes at an early age, you will quite probably be able to detect when children leave their bodies for a short period of time. At that age, they do not seperate their physical body from their etherical bodies. In their reality they are flying with both mental and physical bodies, even though it is only their mental one that leaves. They can actually experience physical sensations as they travel about

PREVIOUS LIVES

Once children begin to talk, they may tell you stories from before

These strories can range from experiences before birth and between lifetimes of past lives, or of things they know and experience from other worlds or dimensions. Their second reality is open to the Universe, and time has no parameters or boundaries for them

PAST LIVE ABILITIES

It is very possible for children to be born with special Psychic Abilities that they acquired in a 'Past-Life'. A child who is given the opportunity - will start to use those born gifts again as he or she grows and develops. Children may use their 'Past-Life Talents' at first as they remember how they used them from before. If current conditions are different- they could become frustrated and abandon them forever

It is important never to force children to remember & tell you more than they want to. Let them tell you of their experiences in a peaceful comfortable way so that they will open up and feel safe in sharing stories from 'before' with you.Collect data on all the stories they want to share

PAST LIFE MEMORIES

It is also possible for children to have such a strong memory from a 'past life' - that they have trouble separating its reality from their current life. They may treat you or others differently from the role they are currently experiencing. They may act like your parent or take on another family role

Children can aslo see someone as a threat in this lifetime in response to a situation carried over from a 'past lifetime'. They may react to a certain individual's presence with fear or other abnormal behaviour

HOW YOU CAN HELP ?

If you observe this, you may want to give the child a chance to tell you at an opportune time why they feel the way they do about that person. You may be able to help them adjust to this lifetime and help them use their intuitive ability as part of their guidance system in the future

UNRESOLVED KARMA

A child may actually be part of an old unresolved Karma from a 'past life'. They may bring with them the opportunity for those close to them to begin to get back in tune with their soul's journey. It may be something between just you and your child, or it may involve even more players. Whatever the lesson is, the child is a part of it, and if it is not resolved, you may need to continue in another lifetime. This old Karma may include the carrying forward of Psychic abilities from a 'past life'. These abilities could have been developed for a special purpose such as for survival. The problem is, this life is different and the child may not know how to adjust their intuitive abilities from the past to their present life

If it is something that is in an 'Energy' form - they will focus on its location and follow it with their eyes A child might begin to notice 'Auras' around other people. They even may be able to see Spirits, Departed Ones or Angels. They may focus on another lifetime and become absorbed in this second reality

IMAGINARY FRIENDS

You may observe a child of preschool age who are having conversations with one or more other people who are invisible to the naked eye. These children may have what is commonly known as 'imaginary friends' These friends may have special names. Children may include their friends in many of their family's activities or they may choose to play with them when they are alone. They may tell you about games they are taught to play by their friends from ' The Other Side'. These friends may be connected to a specific location, but it is the child's natural gift for second sight that allows them to be aware of their presence

HOW YOU CAN HELP ?

Use caution, discretion & sensitivity. If you tell this child that those friends are not 'real', the child may lose the ability to see them. On the other hand, if the child is comfortable with this gift, those friends may remain visible throughout the child's adult life too

Children walk a fragile line between their dual realities and sometimes it is very easy to discourage them from being able to experience both view. Even when an adult takes an action that is intended to be positive for the child, it may in fact have a negative effect. It is a good idea to proceed with caution and a lot of sensitivity when you address the subject of imaginary friends with a child

SPIRITUAL GUIDES & ANGELS

Many children have 'imaginary friends' who are really their Spiritual Guides. You may want to ask a child if he has something or someone who does watch over them, it may look like a fairy, an Angel or even a deceased relative

Children may not see their invisible teams, but they may still hear voices, feel their presence or smell a special odor when they need to have the feeling of support. You may be aware of something that is happening between a child and his or her team before the topic comes up for conversation Some childrend may see something that is watching over them as an uncomforable experience. They may not be happy about their abilities to be aware of the unseen

HOW CAN YOU HELP ?

Not only can you help your child understand that she has a 'special gift' that she shouldn't be afraid of it, you may also be able to communicate with what the child is seeing and request that they do not scare the child. Sometimes even Spirits, need help in order to understand their effect on the 'material' world If children see can see who is watching over them, ask them to describe or draw what it looks like. Find out how they communicate with the Spirits and ask them to share with you each time they have a new visit. You can be in for a great adventure that can teach you and help a child grow and develop their intuitive gifts

As in the other senses, some children may bring with them special Psychic Gifts in taste and smell. They may smell things in certain places that no one else is able to. A child may be born with special artistic talents in music, drawing, writing or painting. DREAMS & NIGHTMARES

There is a very big possibility that children's Psychic abilities may manifest themselves in dreams and even nightmares. They may dream 'past-life' memories that indicate possible Psychic talents that can continue to develop in their current lifetime Nightmares may stem form unresolved 'past-life issues' A deceased relative may visit a child in a dream. They may be there to provide comfort when it is needed or to warn him to be aware of potential problems

If children learn to be comfortable and trust their dreams, they can incorporate the deceased relative as part of their 'Guidance System'. They can learn to believe that messages in their dreams are for the good if the use the information positively

As they grow older, children may be able to perceive the future in a dream state. Usually the information they receive is of some pending unpleasantness , such as the death of a relative. They may blame themselves for the results of their dream. It is easy for them to become scared of this Psychic Ability, and they may try hard to make their 'gift' disappear

You may ask your child to tell you about their dreams and nightmares. You can then explain to them the realities that apply to their life now and help them understand any others that are only a dream

Another good way to help a child work through a nightmare is to help them connect with their Universal Protection. At an early age that may mean feeling a sense of something that is with them such as an Angel that watches over and protects them from harm. Let them tell you what is the best for them, and then you can reinforce what they say

If you know your child feels guilty for an intuitive 'gift', you can help explain to her that it is not her fault and that what she was born with is a 'gift' that can be used for good throughout their lifetime
