There are many places around the world renowned for their Healing Powers and Sacred Energy

Amongst the best known are the Springs at Lourdes in France,Stonehenge in England and the Ganges River in India

Every year millions of people pilgrimage to these and other sites in hope of Divine intervention to heal their ailments

Most leave with at least a sense of calm and acceptance, but a number seem to receive miraculous healing

LOURDES (France)

In the mid-nineteenth century, a peasant girl named Bernadette had visions of the Virgin Mary appearing in a grotto of Massabiele near Lourdes,a village in the foothills of the Pyrenees in southern France.She led others to the grotto, and a spring spontaneously appeared.The water is believed to have healing properties,drawing thousands of visitors each year

CHARTRES CATHEDRAL (France)

This Gothic Cathedral build in the twelfth centuary contains the famous labyrinth with a rose at its center.It is believed to have been a Druid sacred site before the Cathedral was built.The Cathedral is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, but is also believed to have many goddess origins

STONEHENGE (England)

Ancient circles of massive stones stand upright on a plain in England.They are believed to have spiritual or astronomical applications or both, and it is still a mystery about who shaped,carried and set the huge stones in place.Estimated to have been build between 2800 an d1400 B.C.E., Stonehenge is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World

THE PYRAMIDS (Egypt)

The Pyramids of Egypt rise up from the desert in the Gaza plateau near the River Nile.They were burial vaults for the great Pharaohs of Egypt,build about 2,700 B.C.E. Among them is the Great Sphinx, a sculpture with the head of a man and body of a lion.The Pyramids are also considered one on the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World

This river rising into the Himalayas is considered to be the most sacred river of Hinduism

CHIMAYO ( New Mexico)

Thousands flock throughout the year to Chimayo for its healing 'holy dirt'.On Good Friday, believers walk the road to Chimayo reenacting the walk of Christ carrying the cross.Some believers walk from as far as Albuquergue,nearly 100 miles away
