Is the Astral Plane/Astral Light ?

It is said that there is a 'level / dimension' very close to our physical level, where we go after death. It is called the Astral Plane. Some believe that there are 13 Planes of Consciousness on the Astral Plane, some demonic and others Angelic. Most mediums, seem to channel the Angelic Past of the Astral. Contact with the Astral Plane offers a greatly broadened perspective, the Universe expands right before your very eyes. It is said that it looks a lot like the world we know, but is a place with a great feeling of love and timelessness. No night & day, but a sort of glowing twilight

New Age Occultists believe in the existence of an alternate dimension of reality.According to occult theory - the Astral Plane is an environment so plastic that an individuals's thoughts will actually impinge on it so that if, we imagine ourselves heaven, the external surroundings will immediately take on the appearance heaven.Alternatively thoughts of a forest will create a forest,thoughts of a desert - a barren wasteland.Since the Astral Plane is believed to overlay the physical world,certain features of physical reality are mirrored in the Astral. As well, as are thought-forms, made permantent by intense concentration and/or repetition
